Car Cloth

Well, this week I discovered the greatness of the car cloth. I have not really had an opportunity to use it since we do not have a garage or a place to wash our car. My father loves it and I finally discovered why. Let me first tell you quickly what it is and then what I like about it. The car cloth is the same material as the Norwex Window cloth. It is a microfiber cloth that allows you to dry windows and glass and any other shiny surface to a streak less shine. It is larger then the Window cloth. There are a few ways to use. One way is like a shami, you can dry your vehicle and at the same time shine it up. If you have a car larger then a small sedan you will probably need two. It streaks when it is too wet. But you just ring it out to keep moving. Once you've dried your car you can then go to the windows and mirrors and shine them up. It works well since the cloth is damp from drying the vehicle.

The trick I discovered this week was while I was at the park. My car wasn't filthy, but we had had a dry spell and some wind. So it was dusty and my windows had lots of grimy little finger prints from my 3 munchkins. So, I took with me to the park a squirt bottle, a norwex enviro cloth and the car cloth. First I took the enviro cloth and dusted all the windows and outside mirrors. Then I took the squirt bottle and enviro cloth and got any grime off; like bug juice and such. Then I took the squirt bottle and the car cloth and went over every window inside and out. If you are wondering why I took the time to do this, it's because we were going on a trip and I was always taught a clean car is a safe car. =)

Well, to say the least, in less then ten minutes my car looked pretty good and none of my cloths were soaking wet so I was able to set them in the trunk. It's going to become my monthly or maybe bi-monthly routine to keep me from spending too much at the car wash.

So, to recap, the car cloth can be used to dry your car and shine up your car saving you time by eliminating the step of window cleaner and paper towels. Or paired with a squirt bottle to spot clean. Again, saving time and money by not having to use a glass cleaner and paper towels or other towels that leave a film or fuzz.
